Pick-Me-Up before you Go-Go

Yesterday, me and a friend went up to London to check out the Pick-Me-Up exhibition at Somerset House. It was quite inspiring to see contemporary designers work, it gave great perspective on what I could achieve in the future. There were some great artists, from  Mr.Bingo, Erin Petson, Siggi Eggertson, Claire Scully amongst many others...

Whilst we were in London, we took the chance to see Shoreditch Town Halls' basement, where we are having an exhibition at the end of June. The building itself is being renovated, but the basement is still very much decaying; the walls are damaged, floors slightly uneven and has a dingy feel to it. All in a good way. Our project for the space has been set, and initial ideas have some to mind but yet to develop and broaden into more than thoughts. A very open project, although there is encouragement for the brief to engage with the building in terms of history and area. Cant wait to exhibit there along side other graduates from Winchester School of Art. A great experience yet to come.
